COERR Mae Hong Son Promoted Livelihood Fair

Livelihood Fair was organized in 3 events: on June 15th 2018 at Ban Mae Surin camp, Khun Yuam District had about 250 participants, on June 20th at Ban Mai Nai Soi camp, Muang District had 2,000 participants and on June 26th at Mae Hong Son Town Hall had 250 participants. The Livelihood Fair provided a channel for refugees to exhibit their works, sell their agricultural and non-agri products, and create an opportunity to become self-reliant in the future.

The Livelihood Fair held in these 3 events enabled refugees who have never involved in Livelihood Project and people who have visited the Fair, to be aware of the project and activities.

Information about the Fair had been made in advance through announcement, advertisement and communications among community members, that there would be products and services available in the Fair; there would be vital organizations offering knowledge and skills training for refugees; and there would be opportunities for anyone who wish to do a business or to join the livelihood groups.

The livelihood fair provided market opportunities for selling their products and services both inside the camps and possibility to expand to outside camps.
